Hotelbeschreibung
The CATALONIA PRINCESA hotel, recently inaugurated, is located in a magnificent building typical of the architecture of Barcelona’s gothic quarter. Near the Arco de Triunfo and the Ciudadela Park, it is situated in the historic and commercial centre of Barcelona, only a few minutes away from Plaza Catalunya. The hotel has 90 rooms, all equipped with the latest amenities and conveniences to provide our clients with the ultimate comfort: wooden floor and furniture, air conditioning, satellite TV, Canal +, phone, minibar, safe, and a full marble bathroom with phone, hair dryer and infrared light. Most rooms have a separate shower in addition to the bathroom. Our clients have a range of facilities at their disposal, including a bar/cafeteria, a traditional Mediterranean restaurant and a conference room. There is a public car park next to the hotel. |
Diverse Aktivitäten
Thanks to the hotel’s privileged location, you can visit some of the landmarks of Barcelona within a very short time. We suggest you start with the Barrio Gótico—the gothic quarter—where you can visit the Cathedral, whose construction was completed at the beginning of the 20th century, and then head towards Pia Almoina and Plaza del Rey, a beautiful square where you will be able to admire the architecture of the City Hall and the Generalitat (Government of Catalonia). If you would prefer to have a stroll in a park, a good place to go is the Ciutadella Park, which hosted the Universal Exhibition in 1888, and which still contains a few original buildings, such as the Museum of Zoology or the Greenhouse. The Barcelona Zoo is also located in the park. Right near it, you will find the Barrio de la Ribera, where you can visit, among other things, the gothic church of Santa Maria del Mar, Plaza del Born and calle Montcada, which is where the Picasso Museum is. |
