Located in the heart of Barcelona, close to Passeig de Gràcia and only a few minutes away from Plaza Catalunya and the city´s old quarter. The hotel is situated in one of the first residential buildings built in Barcelona´s Eixample district by Catalan architect Josep Cerdà. Built in 1864 in an eclectic style of classical inspiration, it has been classified as a historic monument. It is the only building that still retains the splendid paintings and ornaments of the original façade, which has been totally renovated. The hotel is furnished in a modern and elegant style. It has 124 rooms equipped with all comforts and amenities: parquet flooring and wooden furniture, air conditioning, heating, satellite TV, direct dial telephone, safe-deposit box and fully equipped marble bathroom with direct dial telephone and hair dryer. The hotel services include a bar and cafeteria, a restaurant with large picture windows and 6 conference rooms with a capacity of up to 330 people. There is a car park inside and two panoramic lifts.
